My kit is super wet, is that normal?Updated a year ago

Your grow kit should be damp but not swamp-like. To avoid excessive moisture as you grow, review your instructions about how to care for your specific grow kit. If you can pinch your growing medium between your fingers and squeeze out water, your kit is probably too wet. A light misting until sprouts are established is the ideal amount of moisture in the early stages of growth.

To help your indoor growkit dry, set in a sunny spot (dumping out any standing water if applicable) and turn on a fan. Once the planter is only slightly damp, pull out the netpot, and add back the water to the reservoir to the specified amount in your instructions. Replace your netpot and give the top of the planter a light mist to keep the growing medium damp. Here, you can double check a digital copy of your instructions.
